i have a infinity basslink i bought it 3 months ago and not happy whit the sound i dont want to sell it because i have 4 year warranty whit store

Can i build a ported box for it and use the whole thing amp cross sub

I don't see why not. I'm not sure about going ported with it though since the reason it gets as loud as it does is because of the passive radiator and I don't think you could use it with a ported setup.

Best thing to do would be to get a different setup if you are not happy with it, infinity spent some time getting the most output they could out of such a small design and I doubt you could make it sound much better using your own enclosure.

ok the new box is out of plans, i hear by screwing down the enclosure to the car gets better sound because transmit the vibrations to the whole car
