I want to take apart my old desk top, take out the harddrive, mobo, power supply, maybe some of the drives. Take all the cases off of them and make a sleek notebook casing for all the components out of fiberglass. Put some fans in there so nothing overheats.Get a lcd screen and attach it with something.

Is this possible? Or am i missing something?

YES it actually worked. The scooter batteries in there made it heavy as fawk, and the whole thing was a waste of masking tape and my time. This was about ~5 years ago.
