Is it ever loud enough?

Bass is like a drug. Tolerance builds insanely fast. This makes me wonder, does anybody have a system where they truly dont wish it was louder?

I sadly just went 5 months without any bass, then i hooked up my 12" Kicker CVR in a nice ported box on 400rms and it sounded so ******* amazing! I had the biggest grin on my face just listening to the bass. 2 days later its not loud enough. Which makes me wonder is anybody ever satisfied?

This is almost a deep spiritual discussion about being content lol but is there anybody who doesn't wish their system was louder than it is? It almost seems pointless to ever even upgrade because itll never be enough.

About 160 on music is where i say, ok, this is definately loud enough. My buddies blazer had 4 18 mayhems on 2 tfe's. Think highest he did was about 59.5, but it was above 55 probably down to about 20-22hz id assume. One of the only cars ive been in where i thought it didnt need to be any louder.

Oh, and Killians beast. But thats another level. Think hes doing about 64 these days

As I have gotten older, I find myself not really looking for loud, as opposed to deep and clear. My latest set up the IA20.1, and psi reconed re audio mt 15d2, pretty much have accomplished just that. That's not to say that they can't get loud though, but I have never had a need or want to chase number, all of this has been for my personal enjoyment.

And as for loud enough. I think there is loud enough in my car because I demand balance in a system.

The question is, can you get > 32 HZ loud. Thats a GREAT feeling

Haha so this thread proves it's never enough, I guess that makes me feel better about only having 400 RMS and a single 12" lol because I know if I upgraded, Id still want something better very soon all over again lol
