Is it better to have your box facing towards the driver or away from the driver?

i face my box towards the driver, it seems that i feel and hear the bass more... but when i face the box away from the driver my trunk seems to rattle... alot... im gonna be gettin some fat mat soon though!

if you think it sounds better facing towards you then why ask? what ever floats your boat. facing the box towards the driver and sealing it off from the rest of the trunk is typically louder spl wise too. I personally like the fact that I no longer have to worry about trunk rattle though

just make sure the subz are hitting something for the extra vibrationz and youll be fine.

if they arent touching the seat when they are playing, it shouldnt be a problem. can you fold down your back seats?

lol, the hood loves it when you have insane flex/rattle, in an odd way I kind of like it too, but not to the point it becomes disrupting

my car rear seats down with the subs facing towards the trunk sounds best. but seats down makes me feel the bass more but it gets annoying. seats up facing towards trunk sounds good also but it makes the trunk rattle. its all car dependent.

when had my old memphis single 12 i would have it on the right side of the trunk firing towards the left and it sounded good.
