I was wondering are there actually subs out there that are so powerful that they shatter windows? Or is all that a myth?
Hmmm......interesting. I've been wondering about whether I should get a certain sub, because of the window breaking things that I've heard. If car space has something to do with it, then now I have to wonder if my car would be too big or too small.I think it depends more on the car space rather than the sub.If the car is really really small (limited airspace) and you're using a strong spl sub then you're set. If the car is really really large, it's just going to be more difficult.
But basically yeah, a lot of subs and power will do it
I was thinking about getting either the Pioneer Premier TS-W5102SPL (6000 watts) or the Oz Audio Power 12.1 (8000 watts) subs with probably the Rockford Fosgate T30001bd amp (3000 watts) powering it.you still would need alot of power in order to bust the glass...
need to be really really loud...
what kind of setup are you thinking? I doubt it would break your glass...
I know a kid doin a 154 on the tl with 2 15"s in his s-10 single cab and he flexes the back glass... if he was louder he might break it...i guess...
no you will not blow your window/windows...need multiple subs...a wall...and a shitload of powerI was thinking about getting either the Pioneer Premier TS-W5102SPL (6000 watts) or the Oz Audio Power 12.1 (8000 watts) subs with probably the Rockford Fosgate T30001bd amp (3000 watts) powering it.
Oh okay....... cool!! I feel much, much better knowing that.no you will not blow your window/windows...need multiple subs...a wall...and a shitload of power
Oh okay. Just out of curiosity, how much power do you think it would take to damage a window? That way, I know what kind of power to stay away from.not off 3k
lol trust me you wont ever get there...unless you plan on having a wall and more than one subOh okay. Just out of curiosity, how much power do you think it would take to damage a window? That way, I know what kind of power to stay away from.
