it has to do with the intergity of the window from the factory. if it was set into the frame correctly. if it has warped over time. and if you have insane SPL levels to flex the window beond a threshold due to a weakness in the glass.

very few people have shattered their windows due to spl alone. that video of sanchez is real, but he was using a few thousand watts and like 12 transducers.

but again, there could have been a chip in his window too.

basically, speakers dont usually break glass. the glass has a fault.

so try this. put a crack in the windo. then use your sub. it will break lol.

well yea if you have a crack in ur windshield it MIGHT break..prob just turn into a large crack...but youd have to replace it anyways so it wouldnt make a difference
