IDMAX owns, but focal is better. I have heard a system with just focal in it, and there is nothing that can beat it. focal is the best if you wanna know.

ID Max is probably the Best SQ Sub out there....

not quite...may have great SQ compared to other super subs.... ....try listening to an IDQ or Arc v2 for example, now those are SQ subs

So you want me to make up your mind? I don't know what you listen to, how much space you have, what car you drive, what music you listen to, what kind of power you have available, what your even remotely looking for sound wise.

Get my drift? How about YOU go find 3 subs that you are interested in buying that relate to what YOU are looking for and come back here for advice.

Example - I'm interested in purchasing one of these drivers. IDMAX, RE XXX, SS RL-p. Can you guys give me a little input on each. How they are different, and what strengths and weaknesses do they have over each other?

FYI those listed above are great SQL drivers.

at first, u didn't even list any SQL subs

("overall"=SQL when talking bout subs IMO)

u just listed a few predominately SPL subs and 1 SQ sub; if u want the overall best, then you got to get the best of both worlds (SQ & SPL)
