Is getting bigger batteries really necessary?

Ok, my plan was to sell my YT g31's and get 3 PM 3100's.

but would it really be worth the money? I think I would rather keep my current batteries and pick up 3 more YT's.

I'll be running ~4k watts, and the league i'm competing in next year doesn't allow anything besides a 12v setup. So would it really be necessary to even get newer, bigger batteries?

never used pm's but my g31's kept right up with my kinetik 2400's in my crx. keep what you got and later if you need a few 1/10th's then make the decision.
