Is dynamat really needed?

I have about 200 square feet of it installed in my SUV. Its all one layered and it really stopped alot of rattling. It's worth it!

You don't have to go with Dynamat X-treme, though I did. I have 80 sq ft of SecondSkin thats supposed to be delivered tomorrow. You can try SecondSkin or Rammat. They have both had good reviews in this forum.

Read up on sound deadening here:

Rammat would be the cheapest route to go and it'd work just fine. If you're looking for what's considered one of the best, look into Second Skin Damplifier Pro

I'm going to be using Rammat for my applications

I know from using it that dynamat really does work. I used dynamat extreme in my car to get most of the rattles out. The second skin is a product I haven't used, but if you research this forum I'm sure you'll get both good and bad reviews on each deadening product found on the market.

It'll also help your front stage out tremendously, if you care about things like that - most people don't around here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
