is bass breaking your car yet ?

I think my system had something to do with my broken fuel gauge sending unit... a few days of tremendous bass and the **** fuel gauge stopped registering... also I get chunks of crap from inside the headliner randomly fly out at me, insulation foam or something.

Oh well, loud bass FTMFW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

remove it. it'll take a week or 2 to adjust to not having it there. i've had mine off for months now and when ever i drive other cars that have that mirror i never look in it lol.
Drove me nuts not having a rearview, Im glad I was finally able to fix mine.

same here. i got tired of it breaking so i put it in the garage and have not used it in like 4 months.

oh yea his basically new explorer with 20k miles he bought for 15k and probably couldnt sell it for 10k now because hes broke so much stuff on it and also is garbage with sound-deadening and has great stuff over everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
That right there is the main reason if i get a new truck i would not wana go crazy with a high end system

My rear view and side view mirrors are constantly requiring re-adjustment and I am just running a friggin single 10 in my Civic (see sig)! I guess life is going to get more interesting when I finally get around to making the fiberglass boxes for a pair of dd1508s.

Last years Bass Race setup broke both brackets on my rear hatch.

Still have not figured out how I am going to repair it.

A vid my son took of it in action.

Not with the current set up, but the old cvr 15s and 2 mrp-m 650s...rear-view would not stay on its track, 2 of 4 brake lights would not stay working, SOMEthing undermy car rattles more than my trunk, cover for interior light had to be super glued on. 2001 Buicks do not like bass.

The satty's holding up quite well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Only thing I foresee is problems with the sunroof //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif (as long as I dont upgrade...then things might start to break //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)

Those look like decent cheaper options for sure and probably fine for some systems, but I agree, Audiocontrol has been making high quality stuff...
