Is B-quiet Extreme as good as advertised?

Anyone use B-quiet extreme sound deadening? According to their website, it's better than Dynamat Extreme/ Brown bread and easier to use. No blow dryers...

$140 for 100 sq foot is a lot cheaper than most other products on the market.

Is it as easy to mount as they write? If one layer of extreme dmat works well, than this stuff should rock. I need some for my trucks door and trunk and we're going to do my cousins doors, etc. Are there any local dealers in the Los Angeles/OC area? I know shipping is going to be another $40+.

B-Quiet® Extreme is a 1.15mm (45mil) thick composite mat which consists of rubberized asphalt with an aluminum constraining layer. When the paper backing is removed the supercharged adhesive surface forms an incredible bond to ensure optimum deadening performance.

Thanks to the aluminum constraining layer and superior adhesive, it can be used on floors, doors, roofs and trunks, but not under hood.

B-Quiet® Extreme weighs 0.30lb/sq. ft., comes in 1 foot wide rolls and is available in two sizes: 12 and 50 sq. ft. rolls

I've got well over 100 sq ft of B-Quiet in my Tbird and couldn't be more happy.

Easy to apply, cut, and contour. Certainly has an impressive bang for the buck factor when compared to other deadeners on the market.

You'll hear no complaints from me at all.

B-quiet extreme is a great product for the money

230 degrees

160 losening point

1 mil foil

Rubberized asphalt

Hard to beat the price, especially at 2 rolls

since you did not say impossible, know anyone that could beat the price?

Well, it should be here next week sometime. It was shipped free and we got 3 rolls so there was another 5% off. I'm going to cover as much of the 4 doors as I can. Should I do a 2nd layer around the speakers? Like one square foot or so? Or if I do a 2nd layer, should it be for the whole door? 50 sq feet should be enough for all 4 doors (24') and the rear quarter panels and hatch. My cousin will probably use around the same amount and we should have enough to double up a little or do the roof, etc. We also have some 1" felt that is used for quieting generators. I'll probably add some of that for the trunk.

I fear it's going to be very hot the day we do the install. Hopefully the silence/better sound will be worth it.
