x2, your question is too vague, just ask the question. What aspect do you want? Performance, how it works, design?
pre-cat is just the pipe leading to a catalytic converter, some pre-cat's are built like a resonator to reduce exhaust sound levels. you have so many catalylic converters to help you pass emmisions/smog test. the difference is that a pre-cat pipe is hollow and your catalytic converter has a honey comb type material to fully burn your fuel.Basically I want to know the difference between my pre-cat and catalytic converter. I have 4 cats on my truck, and I'm just curious about the difference between the 2, if there is any.
