yeah it pisses me off.. i pay for parking and then the school has these stupid events for high schools or the public which fill up all the student parking lots...

they do the same sh!t here....cept clemson is more concerned with sporting events and closing lots than academics!! i parked on the side walk an was asked politely to move my car thats it

if u are in a car ...yes.

if u left the car even for 5 minutes and they see it on the side--Ticket!

I parked in handicapped (Walgreens) for a minute (literally) with engine running.

$300 Ticket - Glad i reduced it to $50 in court.

I got one last semester, but I didn't even know about it. Day before classes started this semester I got a call from the registration office to pay or not be in classes this spring. It was news to me...first time I ever heard about it.

I think the little tag thing they give you on your windshield probably blew out. No idea. Had to pay 20 bucks.

Outside of our campus you can't really park anywhere, and one day I got a ticket by the city police, in fact he was standing there as I came back to my car. I kinda knew what was up and just didn't say anything, I appealed because they were working construction on the sidewalk where I parked and claimed that the no parking sign was covered, and never heard about it again.

Our school can track plates, since the ticket has the make/model/plates like an actual ticket would. And when you sign up for a parking pass, you give them your student info. So any cars parked on campus without proper tags, that can be traced to you, are put on your record. If it's not paid on time, they demand 25 more each week. This is also the school that charges 110 per parking pass, PER SEMESTER. Not the 07-08 year, but per semester. Our decks and parking lots are also a mess, but they get a good half million per semester for said parking services.

idk about that........UCF has a police force the size of a cities.....they have a swat team so i wouldnt be surprised if our tickets are real....idk about yours though

with all these campus shootings having a swat team probably isnt such a bad idea

Yep. Police force here on OSU's campus is very 'strict'. But the parking transit people are even worse. All day long they drive around in their mini-vans and golf carts going to every single lot on campus (A TON). Tickets for those who are parkt in wrong lots.

And if you don't pay the 3rd ticket u get.

They boot your car and force you to call them to take it off (which @ that time they also force you to pay all of your tickets)

It's an easy way to make money... too bad our parking system still blows. I wonder all that money is going

Exactly. Our garages have shitty drop offs to the pavement, hardly any spaces, and the gravel lots are a mess. Yet, easily half a mill a semester in bills/parking passes.
