All i gotta say is, the parking security people here are freaking assholes hehe. I've gotten 6 parking tickets over the course of the year, 2 of which were given to me when i was parked legally but luckily i got these appealed, 2 more given within the last minute of my parking meter expiring (and me returning to my vehicle within 2 minutes of my meter expiring, literally, the guy within seeing distance when i get to my vehicle), another which was given to me while unloading bags (after spring break) in a 30 minute loading zone (i was only there for 15 minutes tops, and i had to pay this ticket).

this morning i got another, but this one is legit i guess. I was parked closer to my dorm because its pretty freakin cold and i had to drive my girlfriend to swim practice this morning, so i figured i would move my truck when i dropped her off. nonetheless, i got a ticket in a "yellow" permitted parking lot (one permit higher than my type), in a 32 car parking lot, with 3 cars in it, and class doesnt start for another hour and a half.

i guess a couple are truly my fault, but talk about a lack of leniency.

/early morning vent off

I parked at a parking meter that was broke, it had letters and shit on it so I just put a bunch of coins on top of it to show that I would pay if the thing would work. As I was returning some guy was trying to give me a ticket but I explained the situation. He told me I should have contacted parking services. I explained nicely that it wasn't my job to make sure their parking meters are functioning and went on my way without a ticket.

I had a friend get a ticket for having a tinted cover over his license plates because apparently that is illegal in NY now. That just seemed silly because if someone is going to ticket him for that it should be the police, whether its the town police or campus police.

I will agree that parking services at colleges are absurdly strict. However, 95% of tickets given could be avoided if people didn't break the rules they know are in place. Most stories I hear are "I was just there for a minute or two" etc. etc. etc. but still everyone knows campus parking is serious business so tickets are going to be flowing.

you pay those? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Its not even a real ticket
idk about that........UCF has a police force the size of a cities.....they have a swat team so i wouldnt be surprised if our tickets are real....idk about yours though

interesting.... a SWAT team??? I'm sure they see a lot of action on campus:rolleyes: we just have some fat guy who rides around in an Explorer and writes tickets from the school for parking. How are they gonna charge me? Its not like they have my license plate number on my transcript

they also patrol the whole surrounding area.......they are a real police force......you have to remember orlando i think is in like the top five cities for murder too.......a guy was shot and robbed for his $20,000 chain pretty much across the street from the campus, i personally had my car stolen last year. FVCK ORLANDO mickey mouse or not.

oh and my roomates cousin watched a pizza guy get chased by a black guy with a knife out front of our apartment........another night my other roommate came home and said he heard gun shots and our complex was filled with cops with AR15's......like i said FVCK ORLANDO

Mine ****. This winter, when the roads were snow covered, I couldn't see the lines of no parking, and I got 2 tickets for parking there. They will not dismiss them either. I am pissed about it, because had I known, I would not have parked there, but there was no other indication other then the lines (that was covered by snow and ice).

Got total of 8 when i was in TAMU. Every single was worth $40 but if u pay within 2 weeks its $30.

All 8 were my fault, still tried to appeal but didnt work. Had to pay.
