is amp to powerful for the sub? reference 1100.1

i am going to get a treo ssi 12

they say they can handle up to 750rms while i hear they are also under rated. Also i will be running at a 2 ohm load so i will be buying the dual 4 ohm subs so i will be running 1100 watts rms but i also hear that zapco is under rated so i am not sure if i will blow this sub up or not so any ideas how much abuse this sub can take? I mean will the reference 1100.1 blow up the sub or would the sub be able to handle all of its power?
