This is one of the most ignorant statements I've heard in a long time - the sentence itself is contradictory.Im just saying that 1000 watts coming from a JL 1000/1 is gonna be stronger and smother than 1000 coming from a JBL, anyone want to argue that?
A watt is a watt. A watt is not beer, where one is different from another. A watt is a unit of measurement.
Using this guy's logic, a JL amp that is 12" long is gonna be bigger than a JBL amp that is also 12" long. Or if both amp weigh 10 lbs, the JL will be "more balanced" and "better" 10 lbs. It doesn't make sense.
90 degrees is 90 degrees. A liter is a liter. A volt is a volt, and a WATT IS A WATT. There is NO SUCH THING as a *good* watt or a *bad* watt. It is a physical measurement, not a subjective opinion.
This is what happens when people believe what they want to believe, and refuse to LEARN the TRUTH.
