Thats right bishes...
So I purchased what I believe to be a single dd 9510 on an auction recently. I was going to sell it and purchase a slightly bigger 9512 or 15. I hadn't decided. But I started searching on here and several people have ran one 10 and say it's very loud. I've even seen people metered at ~147 with one. Now this will be purely daily. I want it to be impressive though. I am a bass head after all. So I'm contemplating simply keeping the 10 and am just curious what the forum thinks. Should I go ahead and keep it or get a bigger 95 series. And the sub will be pushed by a kx2500. So expect close to 3k for it.

All depends. If u go bigger would be better but one thing for sure is enclosure will need to be bigger. It all depends how much space u are willing to work with. If the 10" satisfies you then no need for a upgrade. If u want a DD 9512G i have one for sale just hit me up if u wanna buy em

If it were me I'd run it for a while. Someday I want to run a single beastly 10 just to see people's faces when I tell them it's only one 10 and its louder than their 2 kickers they thought were loud. Lol

It will get loud but if you are use to hearing bigger woofers u will probably end up wanting more. After running and hearing multiple 15"s and 18"s hard to get use to a single sub 10" or 12" unless u run then in multiples as well. If its goin into a hatchback or similar they are easy to get loud because of how they are built

I started with a single dd 6.5" SW, then went to 2 x 1508's, then 2 10's, then finally to a single soundstream 15" xxx all in my ext can silverado nnbs. You will end up wanting more. Mine had to 40/60 split in the back. I took out the 40 (one seat), built a false floor for the enclosure then did the 15" SS xxx facing up back behind the passenger. Got pretty loud. I still have the false floor and enclosure if you want some specs on it or if you want to buy it
