Is a HO alternator the next step?

Well, im out to get rid of the ol' dimming. So far i got a kinetik2400 in place of my old stock battery, and the big3 done in 1/0. I still get dimming when playing music full tilt, and i get quite a bit when i sit idle at almost full tilt.

So, my only real next option would be a HO alternator correct? I've never messed with alternators at all before, but it seems like they pretty much just drop in and bolt up. Is there anything i should worry about?

With that said, are there any other ideas to help with this dimming? Wheres some places to buy decent priced alternators? so far ive found http://www.mralternator.com/alternators/ford.html, where they run about $200-$225

is it all that simple tho hehe? i drop 200 on an altnernator, and my dimming/most of my dimming goes away?

suggets u look into iraggi alternators... i havnt heard of mr alternator, but i know don ( iraggi ) has great alts and good service.

he sells his alts on ebay just search iraggi then go through his store and search for your car.

Mean Green is also a good company for domestics. However, they're going to cost a bit more than Iraggi.
