I have a 220 amp HO Iraggi alt on it's way and I have a yellow top under the hood allready. Will this be enough to push a 2500d, a 300/4, and a 300/2? All wiring will be 0ga. I'm just not sure if I need to invest in another battery or 2 you know? I just hate running out of juice when playing it loud for long periods of time cuz I make a lot of long drives on the freeway per week and do a fair amount of tailgating at games and whatnot.

Allright that's what I like to hear cuz I just dropped bills on the amp and alternator and new box and a couple more batteries would really put me in the pit lol. I guess I'll hook it all up when it all arrives and just see how it goes. I just didn't wanna run into any problems during the install, that's why I was asking now.

i have batteries closer to my amps just for the sake of having my amps wired directly to a power source, just to rule out line resistance between the alternator and the amp, and i wanted to make sure my component amp gets an uninterupted power source if my sub amp is hogging all the voltage from the mainline.

the battery will be unused 99% of the time, current will just flow past it if it's not needed, so it can't hurt.

but it sounds like it's not necessary for ya.
