Is 800w rms not enough for a tc-3000

if you can get 800 watts into the driver, then that is plenty. 3K is pretty efficient and that is the critical number to consider.

yeah i saw that but like it says theres less excursion and low bass capability for the competition and i am a heavy rap listener and like that lowww bass experience. But what about coloring it black... was that always there. if it wasnt i like it. not like you would actually see it once its installed though.

We're shifting inventory to gloss black now, Still have some metallic grey left in inventory, but otherwise no difference.

Depends on your tuning frequency. Like I said, if you're above 32hz, you may want to give the CP a try, otherwise go with regular surround and cone.

Or you can do both. They will work in the same box. The trick here is to have a variable tuning port. Plug one port, throw in the standard top assembly and lower the high pass filter for deep bass... Then for louder bass, put the CP on, then unplug the port and raise the high pass filter. You should notice a very large shift in output and then in depth. Two completely different sounding systems.

what kind of spl difference from 800 rms to 1400 rms?
+2.25 dB provided there is little power compression... depends on how continuous that 1400w really is….But at least dynamicly, you should notice higher output overall.
