ok so i am measuring on the multimeter the ohms on my subs there suppose to be dual 6ohms well one subs is reading out 5.7 ohms on both voice coils could this be causing me a problem since i am running 3 of them to make a 4ohm load and if it goes under 4ohms it will go into protect cause it cant handle it so will this 5.7 ohm voice coil be my problem?

6 ohm is just nominal.

For example

a 2x4 of wood

The dimensions are actually 1.5 x 3.5 but its much simpler to just call it a 2x4. Actually the reasoning is in planing, sanding, etc., but thats another topic.

Hey guys since no one answer my other topic then answer this i am about to re wire them thinking maybe that they did not wire them up correctly so i notice when i put the negative to the positive on one side it gives me a ohm load but if i move the negative to the other side it give me nothing but then if i move the positive to the other side it gives me a read out again. so since i have to wire one + to one - should i be wiring it to the ones that give me a read out or the ones that dont? and when i say read out i mean ohms on my multimeter

It should be wired on each sub like this. VC stands for voice coil, or set of terminals.

VC1 (+) to VC2 (-)

Then you have VC1 (-) and VC2(+) left over on each sub.

Wire each (-) together and connect to the amp. Do the same for the (+).
