is 4 way active possible????

Hey guys, im am trying to achieve a 4 way active system in my car and was wondering is there was a radio that can do this???? can the pioneer 880prs or alpine 9887 do this???????? any input is greatly appreciated??????

Pioneer P99RS (European model), Clarion DRZ9255, Alpine H701 with compatible Alpine HU, Pioneer P9 combo. I'm sure there are a few others but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Ermmm not really. Not right from the HU. They "can" if you're tricky/smart about it, but you still can't control all the Xovers for all 7-8 channels from the HU.

The ones I listed can do a 4 way active setup.

Yeah, that would make sense. I guess I forgot the OP had a couple of HUs listed.

This. I think a lot of people think 4 way active means 4 way front stage.

You can use a combination of head unit crossovers and amplifier crossovers to accomplish a 4-way.

Yeap, like I said tricky/smart about it, but of the OP's listed ones, you can't control them all from the HU.

get a drz and never look back, i miss mine :crapr you can use any head unit and a dqxs like db boom said but im a firm believer in your only as good as the signal you start with.
