Is 4.0cuft too big for Skar ZVXv2-12???

This was my very first time building a box and I made a few mistakes, but the worst one I made is making the box too big. It ended up being 4.0cuft instead of 3.0cuft. I have a Skar Zvx 12 that has a box recommendation of 3.0 cuft at 34hz. What can I do to make sure this doesn't end up sounding horrible? or do I need to start over?

Also, I'm using an 6-inch areoport. Would adjusting the length on that fix the problem? I know these may be dumb questions but keep in mind I'm new to this.

I'd add large 45's or just 2x4 to bring the volume down. If you tell me the internal height of the box I can figure displacements of the 45's if needed.
