im bout to order 2 audioque hdc318's and im wondering if 1500-1900rms each is enough to get um going and maybe get 150db outta them?

im gonna run either 2 AudioPipe 1500's @.5ohm or 2 audiopipe 3000's(1 on each sub)

i figure ima need more batteries and maybe a dual alt setup for the 2 3000's to stay at 13.8 or higher vs with the 1500's i can put a deka 31 on each amp

so should i push them harder with 3000rms or about 2000 from the 1500D at .5ohm

I would go with an AQ2200 for each.
Agreed..

But if your set on running the Audiopipe amps, I'd run a 3000D to each one...the board on it is just 2 Audiopipe 1500D boards linked together.

They should be able to take it, just watch the gains. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Their s a guy here, heres on the boards here under John Carr.

John runs 9 of the Audiopipe 3000D's and he seems to have good luck with them...but this past weekend he smoked 3 of the 9.

They are cheap rated power yes..

I've got a set of Sundown Audio 3000D's FS in about 3 weeks.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

If your interested in the AQ 2200's, their is a guy here locally to me with 2 AQ 2200D's for sale. I believe he's asking a little under $600 for both amps.

If your interested, I'll get in contact with him.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

do that for me for real... i'll stay with audioque the hole way around the truck.. amps speakers and subs.

the subs have 3'' coils correct?

if you build the enclosure correctly and have minimal impedence rise and everything is setup right....

then there is not a 3'' coil on the market that can take the heat of 1500 watts for an extended amount of time without heating up/smelling/failing

You need to take into consideration how much of the 1500 watts will actualy be usable. Figure in box rise and it is more like 900-1000.

I would opt for a pair 2200's.
