is 140db from a single subwoofer loud?

Where the 140 is measured is a big difference too, i.e. I'm about 3-4 db louder in the kick panel compared to the headrest.

It was a pioneer ws-26c single voice coil,the sub loved that box for some reason had it on a memphis 1000d it would burp loud but it was in danger if played for very long lol.and it was metered on the dash
