is 1200w too much

My truck is a 4 door Dodge Ram

I have 2- KX600.4 kicker amps. But I only have 4 speakers to replace. I want to go with some 3-way replacements. Should I just sell one of the amps? or should I get (4) 3-way speaker capable of 300w each? I think the largest I could fit would be 6X9s.

I am just looking for suggestions, Thanks

every 3 way speaker i've ever heard was kindof harsh to my ears and SQ wasnt that great....i'd go with a good 2 way component set and some decent coaxials for the rear...and sell the other one to put more money towards a really good comp set

unless you plan on a pair of subs, then run the other amp to them..
