Is 1.28^3 big enough for a port

1 12" Alpine type R in a 1.28^3 box with a 3" port 9.95" long. Will this work? This is all the space I have so I hope this will work. Right now I hate the bass that I have and someone suggested a ported box and I think it might help. My amp is also only putting out 150 watts RMS and this may be the ticket, any thoughts?

personaly i have heard the r12's in a ported box and they sound like a retarted dog wit a stic up it's @$$hole but spl it will pound with no respect for sq so yuo choose but i don't know the port dimensions for the port but for spl tune it to around 70 Hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
