Hi guys, i'm building a system in the 350Z.

So far i got is the Alpine 9835, Alpine ipod module, and DLS iridium 6.2.

I got $2000 budget for the amps, 1 sub & install (wires,etc..)

What amp should i get one 4 channel or 2 2channel?

I'm planning on getting the Idmax 10 v3.

I will assume the install plus box, wires, etc cost $1000

So $1000 for amps and sub.

Any help will be appreciated.

It will be run passive.

I want the DLS amps but kinda out of my budget.

DLS A3 100X2 - $495 ea maybe the Ref C20 but don't know the price.

Is the Arc Audio amps still good?

2100 XXK - $389 ea or KAR 400.2 - $285 ea

How much does the Orion amps with 100 x 2 or 100 x 4 cost?

Anymore recommendations?

I am going to be using a JL 300/2 install is tomorrow. I will let you know how it sounds. If I could have afforded it I would have gone with either a DLS A3( I think can't remember) or an ARC 4150( I think not the kar).

Outbacksport,

I got the install done yesterday and they sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I am very impressed with the Iridiums in general. They have more midbass then I was expecting. They handle the power from the 300/2 lik a champ. All in all i am very happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif Good luck.

Nice to hear that. Where did you install the tweeters? Did mounting did you use?

I heard that they sound best on the a pillar or the dash. I'm going to get the

TRU Tech 2.100 to power this comps and two IDV3 8" in a custom box in the trunk.

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

This tested well on youtube - not familiar with the brand but it is a pretty standard china build house amplifier...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
