yeah i also have an iraggi alternator. its 240max/115 idle. works perfect ive had it since may and never had a problem.

well i bought an alt last year it got me some problems tried to contact him for a year and he finally responded i sent my alt like last week he must of got it for now and well hope everything works out

when a company offers only a 30 day warranty...and you gotta pay a fee to get extended 1 year coverage...its a little shady IMO.

at least i know he used to only include a 30 day warranty. not sure anymore. megolomaniacs picture got me thinking

i mean for a 1 year warranty is great, but it can lead ppl to think "its turning to eD". but we shall see. My 1 year anniversary is coming up in end of october on my raggi. lets see if it can make it, im fairly confident it will. but i dont have a "bangin" system like other ppl though so maybe thats why im not soo worried.

yea, one thing that scared me to not buy it was a email i got from him that said the warranty info...i was like "this guy only guarantees a month of good service from his alts?"

but anywhooo...i have no idea haha. i just pm'd him like a month back and out of nowhere he said "your new login is etc etc etc" and there was light.

I know Dom and he's always been good to me. I think the real issue that comes into play with ALL HO Alts, is that people want crazy numbers from a unit that is physically undersized. Builder's throw the right parts in, but thermal limits seem to be overlooked. You can only do so much with a small case unit. Now if they are sending you brackets and such to make a GM large case fit an import, that's different. Its one reason we do not make a crazy hi output unit, its just not stable. We want our units to last you for years. The bigger players just want the bragging rights and they can have it. I prefer to be reliable.

Another thing we( manufactures) have to consider is installation, I'd say a good portion of damage could occur during the installation. If you have a weak battery because your first ALT took a crap - charge the battery before installing another alternator. (trickle at 0.1A or the like for 10-12 hours) The alternator will not help a weak battery especially if your pounding away minutes after you finish the ALT install. Proper diagnosis and care to make sure the whole electrical system is functioning properly should be top priority over - lets see what happens when I crank this sh!t 10 seconds after the install is done. If the old unit went out - it died for a reason and the battery make kill the new one.

I purchased a 220/150 alt from Dom maybe 2-3 months ago and I've already had issues...

I've tried contacting him several times through e-mail and cell phone and still no response. I would NOT reccomend the product simply because of the bad customer service. Maybe Kaze can help me out......
