iraggi idel amps

I was looking to buy a new alternator. I got a quote for two iraggi alts. I whas just wondering if I will need the dominator which is 200 amps/75 idle or the amputator which is 200 amps/135 idle.How much difference does the idle amps make while your sitting??

depends on how you drive... do you sit idle and listen to your system alot? or are you always driving? a high idle output is necessary if you idle for long periods of time... if you rarely ever sit idle and play your system loud then you have nothing to worry about... personally i'd choose the amputator... whats the price difference?

its just your opinion on what you want, the amputator will give out more at idle, but if you odnt listen to your stereo at idle much, then its a waste of money, the other one will put out enough at idle

x2 for amputator, you'll be glad you did it in the long run. i hate pulling up at a stop light and dimming like a mofo.

x3 on the amputator. Less chances on lights dimming. (depending on how much watts you system is)

ya might find out at what rpm it kicks on too. that might not be the right term for it, but on one HO alt I've seen there is a definite and quick change at a certain RPM...like an AC clutch.
