Nikos, by the looks of your system it seems most likely you're going to need a larger alternator even if you do the Big 3. You may as well get that alternator first seeing as you can get a great deal on it now. Followed by the Big 3, then the batt.

so what will be the advantages because scottie said i at least need to have 170 amps goign before ill be even able to see true potential.....i want my sub to wang and i want to atleast give it 2300 watts i can give it up to probally 2500 watts

i want to get the most out of it for my sub....what does an average alt cost on there for a little escort?

Mike

Guys, keep it clean please. I know I sound like a broken record, and by no means am I discouraging healthy discussion, BUT.... Electrical questions need to go in the "Electrical" section.

This thread is only for group buy information...

THANK YOU!!!

Wow,

Nikosbuddy, we need to meet up or somethin man. You shouldn't need 2300 watts for your system. My SEALED 15AE is ridiculous with about 1200 watts. I had it ported, but it was tearing my car apart, literally.

I'd like to see your setup man, bcuz you shouldn't need that much for daily. You've probably seen me and didn't know it was me, and vice versa.

And a high output alt would be a God send for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif my 125 amp is handling my system fine, but at night time i get a little dimming at idle. Pluse i want to upgrade to a strong 4 channel amp for my in-car speakers.

So, if I see about 15 or more in this, I'll join in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanx //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'll definately consider..

as far as the one I'm thinking about, if 25 people join in, if i get the warranty, it would be like paying regular price with a free warranty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif cool

Yes he makes up to 300amp. I was going to buy a 300amp from him, but him recommended a 260 instead because he said the 280 and 300amp units actually have less idle current than a 260. I bought a 260 for this reason.
If that's the Case 260 it is for me.

It's for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe
