Ipod NANO froze.. Any ideas??

So i just turned on my girls ipod to put a few song on it, and it completely froze.. wont turn off or come off the froze screen even when i plug it in to the computer.. hmm Anything??

do this:

1. switch the hold from on to off

2. hold down the center button and "menu" button for up to 10 seconds until you see the "apple" logo, then just turn it back on.

(im not sure if it's the middle and menu button or middle and play/pause button) try both and see

mine (ipod video) and my room mates nano froze so I googled it one day. Mine still does it from time to time.

My Sansa e260 has frozen once in like 6 months ...

Have the exact same one. Love it and has never frozen.

I really didn't "want" an ipod but it's the only thing that had video playback with my h/u

Odd, my friend has a nano and his freezes as well. Must be some overall glitch.

He always just lets the battery die from staying on for a long time then turns it on and it's fine... I'll have to tell him this trick!

mine would do that too...Apple says its from disconnecting it when it says "do not disconnect"...which i do all the time
