Ipod experts help!

I just got a 2 gig nano from a friend and restored it and downloaded the newest version of itunes and cant seem to get my music on it? i dont get it .. itunes is just drag and drop .. how can u not get music on>?

u want to get ur music from ur ipod to ur itunes library?

WHen you start iTunes with the ipod disconnected, and then you connect the ipod does it detect that your ipod is connected in iTunes and say Do Not Disconnect on the ipod?
