ipod and eclipse 8454

Is anyone running an ipod mini through the aux input on the Eclipse 8454? It sounds like garbage. There is way to much bass and even at low levels it is distorting. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this it would be appreciated.

What is the bitrate of the recording?

I never had a problem out of my 8052 when I ran an ipood to it.

I have several different formats and bitrates. Most of them are the standard itunes m4p files. I just got this thing last week so I haven't messed around with the itunes settings much. I'll check out the bitrate. Thanks.

yeah cut any equalization and put the volume lower

if it doesnt work i dont know what to do lol

I have the EQ on because I use it with the headphones as well. I'll try it without.

I copied Doggystyle at a higher bitrate last night and that also seemed to help. The bass isn't as overpowering and no distortion so far.
