Ipod 4th Gen. Obsolete or still kickin?

As long as the battery still is good, I don't see what would keep it from working.
I agree. Why do you not want to buy a new one or a newer one? Just do not want to admit you will like it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

if thats the case just get a cheap 2gb nano or something, would only cost you $15-20
or just buy any mp3 and use the aux inputs on the receiver

i would only get an ipod if you want to control it through the receiver, mainly because dealing with itunes and all the other crappy apple software isnt worth it unless you have to use it
I dont have AUX input on my deck, and this 20 gig is $40 canadian, shits more expensive up here

Im fairly broke livingon my own now, why waste the money, I just want the no skipping factor. The extra $200 it would cost to get a new one, is 2 weeks worth of food for me!!

I couldnt deal with a ipod in the glovebox either, shits going in the 1/2 pocket right under the HU, why would you put it out of your easy reach
because i can control volume/song selection/everything from the head unit? you actually cant even use the ipod by touching it when its plugged in. works well when chicks open up the glove box to change the song and wonder why the **** they can't do it
