Don't get me wrong, I think the Ipone is amazing! So much technology packed into that little thing. But I just don't like the thought of having to be careful with something that i have on me at all times.

I prefer a clamshell phone as I'm at the gym, running from place to place and riding my bike pretty much everywhere. I just see me destroying an Iphone.

Not to mention everyone that I see that has one carries it around like thier dick has grown an extra few inches because they have one.

im with jntar, ill wait a month or maybe 2 before i jump on the bandwagon. im selling my 8gig unlocked jailbroken iphone to my buddy for 200 along with a shit load of extras and ill spend the extra 100 to get the 16gig this time around. having a real GPS application is desperately needed for my work. Can anyone tell me if the speaker volume is any louder for the 3g? i really hate how the 1st gen is so god ****ed quiet.

Imo, i see nothing special about the "iPhone". All it is is another PDA with a larger screen. They are cheaply made, doesnt take much to break them. VERY sensitive to shock vibrations. Went down a gravel road with it laying in the passenger seat in my blazer(cloth interior) and i pick it up and its not worked since then.

Will never buy another apple product such as the iPhone.

Good things about it were the advantage of having the larger touch screen. Newer and better software for surfing the net. Thin and sleek but as mentioned cheaply constructed. Was hard to lose, which was a plus for me since I am always losing something.

Overall I would give it a 2.5-3 out of 5

thing is great got the 16gb cause they were out of 8gb some ******* offered me 300 for my spot in line i wish i would of took it and waited to get the 8gb

the back cover is gonna get very scrathed of it tho but way better camera and internet is a great deal faster.

180 a month for 2 iphones eswith unlimited texting + taxes sux but its worth it to have internet where ever i go
