iPhone question

I want to get the iphone, but I dont really want to add the data plan to my contract. So can I get the iphone without adding the data plan? Oh and I already have AT&T.

lol a few of my friends have that if your not willing to get the data plan dont get it. it will turn into a massive bill and then iphone is based off using the data web anyways. so if your not gonna pay the extra 20$ a month then dont get it unless u want a 300+ phone billl

No if u upgrade to the iphone u have to get the data package. If you buy one outright then you won't have to though

I had no data plan for a few months. Mobile Internet is very usefull. Just alter the edge settings so it won't connect.

u can download a program called nodata...turns off the edge connection and can just use wifi...thats what i downloaded on my tilt and works fine
