Inverting subs..

what if i have one normal and one inverted? the one mounted normally is already wired up normally, so when installing the next sub i would hook the DVC 4 ohm coil pos to pos and neg to neg, but when i connect them to the amp i would connect the 2 pos on the sub to the neg terminal on the amp and the 2 neg on the sub to the pos on the terminal on the amp?

if you dont wire it backwards it's going to be out of phase with your components...
no it'll be out of phase with the other sub, unless you're talking about a single sub setup, in that case, the difference is going to be unnoticeable to almost anyone who listens......but you can wire a single sub inverse, it won't hurt anything, but you probably won't get a noticeable gain
