Inverted Firing...

I dont know if that is what it is called, but Im talking about when the magnet is facing out of the box, and the front of the sub in the box. Does this sound the same, better, worse, any different? Ive seen some sweet lookin installs in trucks and such, inbetween bucket seats. (although most of them ARE audiobahns).

Bling factor! Mostly done for looks, more-so other times it's due to space issues. Subs need a particular amount of space to perform.

i have a single 10 inch inverted in a small box and in my opinion it gets a lot louder in my small cab. it also cools down better because when i had it normal, some of the polyfill would clog up the vent for the pole piece and the magnet would get really hot.
