Any member that has one of these subs; feel free to let everyone know what they are missing. Thanks;)

Shouts out to Audio_phil for the "accurate" specs

And to think I got banned for a month for the same listing, lol, only my prices were better, lol. Oh yeah, and your sensitivity ratings either arent correct, or you're rating them in 2.83V/1M. I have real specs if you want them, their listed in my add with the true bass solutions stuff that I've got up for sale also, Ultra 8's and 10's I had the same video posted in the thread where the guy was looking for 2 8's, lol. You need to specify that that the video is a 2nd gen TB Ultra 8 not a new version. Your wattage specs are slightly off as well, I just talked to James today, he's building me some 8" Ultras and doing a repair on a damaged Ultra 10 for me, if ya talk to him, tell him Phillip in VA says hey, lol.

I checked out the sub in audio phil's latest for sale thread. It looks impressive. But I'll need a 4 ohm dvc model.
Thinking awfully strongly about buying one of these...
The 4Ohm version has a little shorter winding length, not much prob 2mm but thats enogh tobring Fs up slightly over the D2 and lower Qts a slight bit, so don't expect 30 Hz outta a D4 without a fast slope above tuning.

I wanted to run TB at one time, but i'll be ****ed they never emailed me back out of the 5 emails I sent them..ah well. Good products regardless
you need to call him. each time i called , mr. carrol picked up. good guy , knows his speakers. great prices too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I was emailing the owners email at the time, was in like march so it's been a while, going a different route since then anyhow but still good stuff, hope you do well selling it.
Same thing happened to me with DD. I wanted two 9515's before I destroyed my Jeep, and I sent them an email everyday for nearly a week. It took well over a month to hear back from them. By that time I had already gotten pissed and bought a bunch of REs instead. I wanted to buy 2 $1,000 subs, but they couldn't find time to send me a price quote.

Yep, hes even answered while at home several times, his wife's a darling, nicest lady I can think of next to my mom of course. He does all kinds of stuff too, goes on hunting trips and shooting matches and still finds time to build some amazing woofers.

It's cool. I was just looking for something temporary anyway. I'm sure the D2 is a better sub, but it won't work with the crappy equipment I currently have lying around. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Just found a supposedly brand new Sundown E8 in the local Trade N Sale for $55. Going to check that out in the morning. If it's legit, I'm buyin' it. I can't find one anywhere else.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Yeah, Dave Boder of DDis a hard man to get along with, they want me to deal DD so bad its not funny, stayed after me through email forever, I just can't stand behind them, I think the soft-parts of DD subs are about as crappy as they an be to still hold h power the coils and motors are designed for. The spiders are junk, noisy and small diameter, to mass-market like for me, their motors though, (95g motors) have a series BL product of 33TM once the Qes drops after break-in.

i dont belive dave works at dd anymore. as for pricing there number is on the website why not call? if i need a price i call and have it within minutes.

Calling, email, it's the same. It shouldn't take over a month to hear back from someone that you're trying to give money to. That was nonsense, and it cost his company some money. I'm sure it's happened to more people than myself too...

calling vs email= not the same. emails can get lost. if you were serious about buying subs from dd and the phone number is avaiable pick up the phone.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Okay, lets get these subs moved for Dameon, enough irrelevant banter!! lol. Mr Carroll is not DD, he may not answer emails as fast as some would like, but its a one man operation and he competes in MECA and USACI while building his home audio stuff for Dana Audio and the True Bass Solutions lines. So... his customer servce is second to none and his subs are amazing as well so, between me and DS we should be able to supply your TB needs no matter how many you need or what size, I can get the 6.5's no trouble, their a low Q low Xmax high efficiency driver so they are more midbass oriented, but a 6th order alignment may make for use in the lower octaves as would a folded horn or TL (say down to 50Hz or so 6th order.) 45-50Hz TL or FH. Order order step right up!

There is a difference, but if I got an email from someone wanting to spend 2k; I wouldn't hesitate to call back...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
