stupid should hurt.
i was wondering what i should do?

i can get a deka Intimidator 9A31 for about $130 new or should i go with a batcap 2000 which you guys know you can get one for about $200 on here, if your quick.

i guess the main thing is weight and size.

i will be runnin my 2x treo ssi's on my mmats d2100.1 its rated at 1550 but some people have benched them at 2000wrms. currently im running at around 1150, but i still need to upgrade the wire to some 1\0 and do a big 3.

Two different kinds of batts. Get the Deka if you need the extra reserve, get the Batcap if you need quicker discharge rate. If you can get the Dekas for 130 new, I'd go with that, so long as you have the space and the weight doesn't matter to you.

yeah i'm wanting to put the deka intimidator 9a31 under the hood of my surburban. i really don't know anything about batteries? just need info? are optima yellow tops and interstate workhorse batteries good?

The Deka is your best choice out of all the ones you have mentioned, especially at the price you gave. It will fit under the hood of your Suburban with very minimal effort. In fact, you could probably fit 2 of them under the hood. But, what you should do is buy 2 and put one under the hood and one in the back. You would be good up to about 4kwrms IMO, as long as you have a good alt (200a).

FYI

Deka = Made in USA (East Penn)

Battcap = Cells imported from China and assembled in USA (Same as Kinetik)

Not saying anything about the quality as I don't own either one. Just info.

Actually if you look at the Batcap product lineup, they have many different types of batteries. Some are made from Cyclon cells, which are made in the USA by Enersys (Odyssey/Hawker) and some are standard plate style, probably made in China.

Kinetiks are all plate style made in China. Same goes for the XS brand.

Optima is made in USA as well.

Bottom line is that where batteries are made has a minimal effect on the battery as a whole. I think most people in car audio know that Optima is not a very good option for larger systems. They are USA made. Does that mean that every USA made battery is not good like the Optima? Nope. I happen to like some of the USA brands. Does the fact that Kinetik, Batcap, and XS are made in China effect their quality? Not necessarily. Factories in China can make something just as good as in the USA if you ask them to. It is up to the company to design the product and have it made to specification.
