1 those cabs are there because there are batteries and amps there. another reason the "jack up" the trucks is to tub them out to put more batteries in there. you have both meca and db drag close to you if you look ....... most of those monster system trucks have a min of 20 batteries with the bigger pioner truck having 84 (if i recollect correctly)

im by ft wayne you are within 3 hours of probably 12 db drag shows a yr easy. and i dont have exact pics of the walk through cab but walling and boxxing it off is the right idea . you do it right the cap doesnt even matter except for keeping weather out

that better be a show truck only because dana44 and 60 will die with 44"s under any hard use. you need 1 tons if it will be more than a trailer queen. a friend with a 79 jimmy and 44 and 60 on 44"boggers toasted 3 gearsets in the rear and 1 in the front.
a cap would work for your application but its obvious youd need to mount it 50x stronger than any hardware kit available.

i would think a dana 60 front and 70 rear would be ok. but a lot of torque and a lot of grip will deifintly stress out your drive train. i was in a 94 yj rock crawler this last weekend. it belongs to my gf's dad. it was in the 04 october issue of petersons four wheel drive mag. anyway we were on the rubicon and he has 37"s with a stoker motor making about 340 hp, and he still stripped the ring gear in the rear end. he had to crawl out of the rubicon from about 2 miles in, which is a long way if you have ever been on the trail, in front wheel drive. oh well, its dynatracks problem now.
