Just curious if the remote control for this HeadUnit features an Open/Close button for the In-Dash LCD Screen?

I believe it's the same remote as the other kenwood systems. If this is true, then no. Angled view, yes.

Alright thank you... Have a chance to pick up one of these Headunits really cheap, but the Open/Close and Volume buttons on the left side are broken. (my friend owned it and traded in his vehicle with the deck in it... The dealership removed it, sold the vehicle and said they would sell me the deck)

Just wondered if I would need to have it repaired before installing, or if I would be able to open/close it from a button on the remote... Apparently, repairs will have to be made... Thanks again!

I own the same radio. I never noticed a button on the remote that will open the monitor.
