Interesting Idea

You're an idiot, it's not going to happen, you'll come up with some other "FANTASTIC" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif idea next week, you're wasting our time.
What is it with n00bs creating elaborate ideas and asking about them when they know fully that it will never come to fruition? I mean the kid is 17...christ...it's not going to happen short of him winning the lottery.

Just my thoughts. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

thats a tad on the ignorant side. i have an 18 year old friend that has more sic *** cars than you could imagine, but you would never know it.

dude seriously. unless u know me or my family u don't know how we live. I myself have bought and sold more cars than u probably have ownd ur entire life. I have owned a corvette, suburban on 44" TSLs, 2 built Jeeps, pro street s-blazer and a few other cars. I know how to make my money and how to go about things.

chillax man lol

do you have any idea how thin and weak the walls are on your average camper? they are junk.

you would do better to build a sub enclosure out of clap board... it would be no weaker.

How's the gas mileage on that beast?

I've built/owned a couple Yota's. One with 8" soft suspension and 35" Swampers and the other with 15" suspension, 14 shocks, and 40" Swampers. They were fun weekenders!

I couldn't imagine daily on 24" lift and whatever size tire you plan to fill in the gap. Too much fun.

For your subs, cut a hole in your cab to your bed to let the enclosure's subs fire through into the cab. You can get creative like modify a polished aluminum tool-box to cover the enclosure in the bed, so nobody would know there was an enclosure back there (at a glance).

I read about one who put his enclosure in the tool box (woofs firing through into the cab) then filled the gap between the enclosure and internal tool box walls with cement for added damping. He did a bunch of other crazy stuff too.

I have driven daily before in 20" lift. Not that bad. Just watch ur turns.

I have thought about a cut through but not for my first comp system. That would bump me way up in the ranks for comps. I dunno. We will just have to wait and see

O btw my mpg is around 5 mpg when I keep my foot out of it

After talkin with Speakerman and Moe Lester for about an hour I have come up with something that should be competitive my first year. I have decided to run MECA(all that is around here) in the driveby class. I think I'll be running 4 12" IA DPs and 2 Orion 2500Ds. He has shown me that with going with the 18s I won't be able to compete in anything for under 6K in equip and don't really want to fork that out. Thanks again and stay tuned for the buildup

You'll change your mind next week.

I'll be awaiting pics... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And if YOU don't like that... check the sig. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i believe that my comment was in your favor, but i can always turn it around if you would like.

I already told you. Anyway that comment wasn't directed towards you.

Just again so I can clarify. Built Dana 44 front(4340 30 Spline Shafts, CTMs, 5.38 Gears, Detroit) and Built Dana 60 Rear(4340 30 Spline Shafts, Detroit, and 5.38 gears)

that better be a show truck only because dana44 and 60 will die with 44"s under any hard use. you need 1 tons if it will be more than a trailer queen. a friend with a 79 jimmy and 44 and 60 on 44"boggers toasted 3 gearsets in the rear and 1 in the front.

a cap would work for your application but its obvious youd need to mount it 50x stronger than any hardware kit available.
