because it sounds like crap if it's all the way up...and why are you turning down the bass on rock?
You must be clipping then or somethingbecause it sounds like crap if it's all the way up...

Yeah Dustin did a great box design, system plays great for every type of music I listen toThose kill the kick drum.
I miss a bit of that, of course the power nearly makes up for it.
I guess you've never been to a live concert then lolmy box is tuned to 31.5 hz... it's not that the SQ is crap, it's just too much bass for rock music.
i have lol but i'm not going to push ~1100 watts of bass to hardcore music.I guess you've never been to a live concert then lol
Why not? I push more than that and it sounds fine, you just need louder mids/highs to keep up with it.i have lol but i'm not going to push ~1100 watts of bass to hardcore music.
I'm tuned to 36 and have 8k substage. There is no such thing as too much bass for rock unless you are severely lacking in mids/highsmy box is tuned to 31.5 hz... it's not that the SQ is crap, it's just too much bass for rock music.
As I Lay Dying concert last Fri was awesome. For Today drops the bass guitar and my freaking shirt/shorts go to flapping 30' from the speaker towers. Would kill for that kind of bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifI guess you've never been to a live concert then lol
Either that or your mids/highs aren't keeping up with the bass, or you have your bass boost all the way up.
my mids and highs are all stock at the moment... with my system i have a lot of focus on my substage... one day when the money flow is better i'll be working on the mids/highsWhy not? I push more than that and it sounds fine, you just need louder mids/highs to keep up with it.
El Oh Eli have lol but i'm not going to push ~1100 watts of bass to hardcore music.
I'll sell you a 4ch on the cheaps. When you get a bit more money, get some cheap after market components (I'm using Punch series RF for crying out loud). Keeps up just fine w/ 40w/speakermy mids and highs are all stock at the moment... with my system i have a lot of focus on my substage... one day when the money flow is better i'll be working on the mids/highs
