is it possible to use the bass knob from my Diamond Audio D1000.1 on a SAZ 2000d?
That's because you keep using random BS amps.Doubt it
I've tried to use bass knobs from one amp on another and it didn't work.
Lol this was a long time ago, I dont even use bass knobs nowadays. That's because you keep using random BS amps.
You're lucky, you don't have people that want to turn off the bass the second they get in.Lol this was a long time ago, I dont even use bass knobs nowadays.
Local shop won't install them, period. They will[/b] give you the ones out of the boxes from the amps for you to install yourself if you beg them enough, but they advocate severely against. They let me do it because they know I only use it for a cut. Most of the time no. They won't change over. While they may plug in and may even look the same, look at the pins/wire and you will see some are flipped while others are not.
Most of the Korean based amps can use the same knob, but I see zero reason to use them myself. We do everything we can not to install them, even in clients cars.
I use a remote gain knob, not a bass knob sirYou're lucky, you don't have people that want to turn off the bass the second they get in.
I use cheap amps, not good amps

PAC LC1 Universal Remote Level Control via RCA Audio Interconnectif i'm listening to rock i like to have the ease of being able to turn the bass down without going through the headunit
One in the same on some amps. Called the latter, is actually the former.I use a remote gain knob, not a bass knob sir
If you set the gain with it disconnected, typically they can turn it as far right as they wish. That is because of the lack of ability to control what some kid will do with it. That and most think it is just another "volume knob" that can be turned as far to the right as possible.
and why are you turning down the bass on rock?if i'm listening to rock i like to have the ease of being able to turn the bass down without going through the headunit
Yeah higher quailty amps have a remote gain, but they call it remote gain. One in the same on some amps. Called the latter, is actually the former.
