I just went and got a quote form the same place my dad has his at and they said it would be $398 for 6 mo's and it's baced on a 95 honda civic and i'm only 16 so is that a good price? what do you guys pay for insurance?

398 every 6 mo. wtf, i paid 150 a month when i was 16 on a 4 door dodge intrepid. I am in the middle of getting off of my mother's policy and got quoted 1300 every 6 months from Met Life (my agent ATM). And i have another 4 door grandma car, no tickets, no accidents, no nothing on my record. Seems to me you are getting a good deal.

My friend who drives a Honda Element pays (well, his parents do) $2,500 every 6 months for insurance. Hes 16.

I paid $300 even every 6 months when i was 16 with my camaro, the car was under my dad's name. His insurance went down so now i pay $277 every 6 months, and i'm 17.

People that live in the middle of no where ge the best deals on insurance....

I pay $94/month and I am 16, but I dont have a license so I'm not officially on the insurance... When I get my license they said it should be around $120/mo.

Im 25 and my insurance just went down by 400/6months... I currently pay 650 every 6 months... and its my own policy, and I live on my own...

Im not knocking living with the parents, I tell my lil bro all the time its the best thing for him...

It is a POS... Paid $8,000 for it last year (dealer pricing), and he couldnt get $3000 for it now. Dents galore (never filed any insurance claims), AC broke, radiator needed replacing, engine mounts cracked... I know theres more, but I cant remember it all. Totaled around $2000 so for in repairs, none on dents.
