installing component set and 2 channel amp

btw, this is just a temporary install on the amp(orion hp2600) cause when my 2 mt's get here and my 2 orion d5000's, ill be rewiring it all, so u think i should just get a half decent amp kit from bestbuy or something(just remebered tomorow is sunday and the audio shops prally arent open...

also, wire for the speakers, i dont wanna redo it twice, so what wires should i use? size?

its for a 97 ford explorer and they are diamond audio d661s's

well ill have 2 amps but i dont have my 2nd set of comps yet...so for now, just one amp. the amp install is temporary, think i should just get one of the Scosche amp kits from walmart just til i get the wall built and then ill get nice wire?

Why do it twice even if its "temporary" You can do all of your wiring right the first time then its less of a pain. Just cause your gonna change equipment later at least your wiring will be there. Id buy decent wiring from the start man.

OK here is my best advice so you don't waste money in steps. so going to have 2 d5000's and 2 comp set amps?

1. big 3 in 0/1 gauge

2. run 0/1 guage into the back of the vehicle (where your amps are going i assume)

3. good distro block

4. depending on amp power (i expect 8 gauge) run power to the amp you are going to hook up

5. build a good heavy duty grounding block OR buy one

6. run ground from amp you are hooking up

7. wire speakers/aim and install.

This way here no matter what you do you will have a NICE powerful wire at the back of your vehicle, no need to ever upgrade. install your wiring (at least the battery/power/ground) as if you never have to install it again.

Do it right the first time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my battery and everything is getting moved, so the wiring's gonna get redone reguardless. my entire cargo/engine bay is gonna be moved around, wheel wells cut off, etc. why buy the good wiring now, its just gonna be in the way. i just want my 1 set of components in for now then ill redo it later.
