Installing an AUX input?

Hey all, new to the forums so sorry if this is the wrong spot for this...

Anyway, I want to install an auxiliary input into my factory radio. I was wondering what exactly I'd need to do this? I have a GMC Jimmy.

Thanks in advance

A universal way for an aux input would be with an fm modulator. It's pretty simple, but like stated above, year/make/model will go a long way.

I have a 98 GMC Jimmy.

I have read into the FM mods, but they say the sound quality is shit.

I want this so I can play my MP3 player through the radio.
