Ok, quick question. I bought a headunit off of a member here and it came with a wiring harness. Does that mean I can hook it up right to the factory wires in my car or do I need to buy something else. I don't really want to hardwire it up..
95 Blazer.. So I need to get one of those connector kits to install it? That sucks.. Whats the wire harness for then anyway? Not the factory one, the one that comes with the hu.

you dont have to get it if u dont mind choping your factory harness and for the most part guessin what wires are what....
The one on the cd player is all the fucntions of it, like power/ground/speakers and so on... again u dont need it if u like to struggle with wiring it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Ive wired a cd player (first one i ever installed) with out buying the harness. 2-3hrs later after a bunch of test runs with different wire combo i finally got it lol. It was a mess. Using the harness makes things quick and easy
the harness u buy at walmart ($10-15) will wire to the harness on the cd player and give u plug and play with your factory harness making things easy and orderly. It should also come with a needed atenna adapter. Im pretty sure its the same harness in my 98 gmc jimmy.
